I'm a 37-year-old from Cleveland who has been to over 35 countries and is super passionate about travel. My day job is as a travel agent, but only for business travelers - the fun planning is exclusive to my own trips. I also love writing and have self-published a fantasy trilogy, so this blog is a fun way for me to keep track of all of my travels as well as share tips and photos.

 

Along with being a traveler and writer, I'm a Sagittarius who loves gaming, animals (have been vegetarian most of my life), the outdoors, rock music, craft beer, Islay whiskey, theater, reading, camping, cuddling my cat, kayaking, and outings with friends.

 

I left home at age 24 to backpack Australia and ended up living abroad for four years total (mainly in Oz, New Zealand, and Scotland). I worked hospitality jobs along the way and did NOT head off with much money, so I can answer plenty of questions about budget travel! I still prefer to stay in hostels when possible and love the communal aspect of traveling. I'm an open book and happy to share advice, so hit my inbox if you need me.
